I have this vine that appears to be v.riparia or a subspecies. It has characteristic leaves but with pubescense, seemingly longer internodes, it is difficult to root from dormant cuttings. What do you think? Riparia/Aestivalis natural hybrid? I should say about the leaves that because of shape v.cordifolia may be present.

You can download Munson’s Foundations from several websites for free. This will give in depth descriptions of each species.

Or if you post picture I am sure someone can ID it.

But if it were riparian it should be easy to root. It’s likely a hybrid but pics of leaves and clustes would help a lot, and also your area.
